5 REBRAND

The rebrand/upgrade from ‘Channel 5’ to just simply ‘5’ was a mammoth undertaking. Taking a well-established and successful PSB and incorporating the streaming platform of ‘My5’ to create one brand, one identity, one place for all your entertainment needs. Now “It’s all on 5”.

The launch of the new identity and approach to audience viewing demanded a hugely extensive promotional campaign featuring multiple executions and deliverables, complete with an enormous media spend including a massive out-of-home operation, a variety of social assets and three different radio spots.

We weren’t just changing the look and feel of the brand, we were repositioning the public perception and updating the way the brand could be consumed and engaged with.

As Lead Creative I was responsible for all on-air, online and on-radio assets and deliverables, making stand-out work that resulted in hugely positive internal accolades from all stakeholders and an excellent response from the industry and public alike.
